Sarah says...

"After graduating from University and not knowing what career path I wanted to take I found myself in a telesales job. A year later and although still unaware of what I wanted to do, I knew this position wasn’t for me. After posting my CV on the internet I was contacted by Simon Lader at Salisi who wanted to speak to me about joining their graduate programme. Unaware of what the day to day life of a recruiter was, but having a clearer idea of what I did and did not want from a company, it wasn’t long before Simon had my full attention and I was eager to learn more. We spoke of variety, extensive career opportunities, the opportunity to travel, independence, openness, a fantastic reward and recognition scheme, a mentoring program, the ability to develop skills in different areas, about being supported, valued, job security and the chance to work internationally – all of which play a key part in my role today. I have now been at Salisi for one year and we have grown dramatically over this time. I have my own desk which I am managing and have been on several training courses which have led to me successfully smashing my targets this year. The colleagues I have the benefit of working with day in and day out contribute to the fun friendly office environment that I am fortunate enough to work in. I leave the office each day having the confidence that I am supported by my colleagues and that each one shares the same ethical approach and quality of service levels as myself. Although I have been placing roles internationally throughout my time at Salisi and am looking forward to this continuing, I am very excited about our new US office and what opportunities this will unlock for each and every one of us.
